Danish Society of Addiction Psychiatry.

1. The purpose of the Society for Addictive Psychiatry is to contrute to improve the treatment of and research in addiction. Specifically, it is a main goal to ensure that psychiatry plays an important role in the research and treatment of addiction to alcohol and drugs.

2. To achieve these goals, the Society arranges meetings and lectures, and the Society can give advise to psychiatric and addiction clinics as well as psychiatric hospitals in treatment matters. The Society may also give statements to politicians and the press.
